7 Best Stylish Budget Accommodations in Santorini

Updated: Jun 3, 2023

Santorini's accommodations can be crazy expensive. I am talking about 2,000 euros a night for a suite with a private pool, but that doesn't mean you cannot find something right for your budget while visiting the island.

In this article, I listed accommodation that, in my opinion, would be perfect for a budget holiday but still in style.

Most of the people I know, when thinking to visit Santorini, they dream about taking dreamy pictures also in their hotel, not only around the island.

And because I genuinely believe that a budget holiday deserves to be excellent, not only amazingly cheap, I listed very stylish places, all with a swimming pool, at a pretty low price (from 35 to 80 euros for a double room for two people).

Remember that eating in Santorini can be cheap if you know where to go.

Read "Best Places Where to Eat on a Budget in Santorini" to learn about all the cheap local places to eat delicious Greek Food!

There are many local bakeries to eat delicious local sweet and savory cakes, and many Gyros shops where to stop for a fast lunch (Gyros costs around 2.50 euros in Santorini).

Many places to enjoy a fabulous Greek dinner at a low price are available around the island (I am talking about 15 euros for dinner).

Transports are very cheap (1.80 euros one-way bus ticket) and will take you everywhere, so you don't need to rent a car ( I didn't).

Prices may vary by the month of the year, and these prices are for a June holiday.

1. Margarenia Studios:

This place is stunning in my opinion, and it doesn't look at all like a budget accommodation.

Margarenia Studios is very stylish, with the classic Greek style you will love in Greece.

It has a nice big swimming pool to spend a couple of hours in total relaxation, free parking for your rental car, excellent white and clean studios, and apartments that make you feel like being inside a cave. On this lovely terrace, enjoy the quiet after a day of exploring the island.

Prices start from 80 euro a night for a studio for two people in June.

Located only a few minutes walk from the black sand beach of Perissa and Perivolos.

If you don't want to rent a car, the bus stop is only a few meters from the property.

Samson's Village

5. Samson's Village:

I think Samson's Village is the best hotel on this list and the more expensive. Double room for 80 euros for two people.

But if you think you can have breakfast at your accommodation or stop at a delicious local bakery where you can have breakfast and lunch to take away with you for only a couple of euros, it is not so bad.

You can save money on food (but still eat delicious Greek food) and stay in a beautiful place.

Located in Perissa, only a few steps from the famous Perissa Beach, this place follows the Greek style, with its white-washed house and the blue sea; while walking around, you will feel like a bit of a Village.

If you prefer to have breakfast at your accommodation, the hotel offers a very delicious and big breakfast for only 7 euros.

Guests can also get discounts in restaurants nearby; ask at the reception.
